Table of Contents

The University Archives Subject Headings was created in the 1970s and has been updated through 2006. Since the release the revised college and university terms guidelines by SAA, the decision was made to convert the local headings, as appropriate and possible, following those guidelines. These changes are made to the subject headings in the Special Collections Database as MARC records for collections are extracted for the library catalog.
